Based on her own life, Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, follow the four March sisters; the traditional and hopeless romantic Meg, wild, aspiring writer Jo, timid and musically talented Beth and sophisticated yet bossy Amy, and their beloved Marmee while their father is away serving during the Civil War. As Jo and her sisters grow up during a difficult time in America, they strive to be brave, intelligent, and imaginative young women. As adulthood approaches, each sister must negotiate her private ambitions with society’s expectations.
